Anthony's Restaurants is a Pacific Northwest–based, family-owned seafood restaurant company founded in 1973 by Budd Gould. With 26 waterfront locations across the region and its own seafood-sourcing operation, the company has built its brand on fresh Northwest seafood, genuine hospitality, and more than 50 years of hands-on operator leadership.

"Because we’d moved to having servers turn in all their cash, Earned Tip Access became a really nice option for the employees who want their tips sooner rather than waiting for payroll. Two things we loved about it: our people who want faster access get it, and we’re no longer sending team members home with wads of cash at midnight. That never sat right with us from a safety standpoint, ETA let us solve the “get people their money quickly” problem in a way that felt a lot safer for our teams."

What We Covered

This is a candid, operator-led conversation, not a product pitch. You'll hear directly from the finance leader behind a 26-location restaurant group about what actually changed when they automated tip compliance, with added context from TipHaus on payroll efficiency and the compliance landscape.

  • A real operator story from Anthony's Restaurants, family-owned, 26 locations, 50+ years in business
  • An honest look at what changed in payroll accuracy, tip disputes, and manager workload after automating
  • Practical, non-salesy insight you can apply immediately

"Across our 26 locations, we’re getting back roughly 1,180 hours of team member time each month with TipHaus. Out on the floor, each server and bartender is saving eight or nine minutes at the end of every shift. That’s time they’re no longer spending on paperwork and can spend serving our guests. Those minutes are real, and they’re going back to our guests and to revenue-generating work instead of paperwork."
