IN DEVELOPMENT

Not yet generally available. As of September 2026, Earned Wage Access is in active development and is not generally available for purchase or use. Availability depends on regulatory approval in each state and is rolling out in phases. Nothing on this page is an offer to provide the service.

Coming soon: your team's paycheck, available before payday

We're building Earned Wage Access so your hourly staff can receive a portion of the pay they have already earned, without waiting for payday. One ACH per pay period. No cost to your business. No holding account. No change to your payroll process.

Earned Wage Access is in development and rolling out in phases, state by state, as regulatory approvals clear.

Why we're building it

Your staff run out of money before payday. Your managers deal with the fallout.

Hourly employees need access to the money they've already earned. When they ask for an advance between paychecks, managers are left to say no, hand over cash, or keep track of informal advances themselves.

Earned Wage Access brings the same flexibility to wages, giving employees access to earned wages before payday without putting managers in the middle of the process.

That creates unnecessary work for managers and can make "we pay every two weeks" a harder sell when you're competing for hourly talent.

TipHaus already solves this for tips. 64% of hospitality employees say they're interested in daily tip payouts, and operators using Earned Tip Access have seen retention improve by up to 30%.

WHAT we're building

What Earned Wage Access will do for your business

Earned Wage Access is in development. Here is what we are building and what we intend it to do once it is available:

Staff receive only what they have already earned

Access will be limited to wages earned in the current pay period. Nobody borrows against future work.

One ACH per pay period

Every drawdown is reconciled, then pulled in a single ACH when the pay period closes. No daily transfers, no per-transaction bookkeeping, no cash flow surprises.

No cost to your business

Our intent is no platform fee, no per-employee fee, no funding requirement and no reserve account.

Your payroll process will not change

Drawdowns will be reconciled against the same wage and hours data TipHaus syncs from your POS and time and attendance systems.

Employee driven, zero manager overhead

No manager needs to initiate, approve or process a wage payout.

THE DIFFERENCES

One platform that calculates and pays

Plenty of companies can move money. Far fewer can tell you, defensibly, what each employee was owed and why.

Most Earned Wage Access providers

Most Earned Wage Access providers are payout rails. The calculation happens somewhere else, in a spreadsheet, a second platform, or someone's head. Every gap between those 2 systems is a reconciliation risk, and the operator carries it.

TipHaus

TipHaus calculates, reconciles and pays in 1 system. The same engine that already handles tip distribution for 1.9 million employees will handle wage access, reading from the POS and time and attendance systems you already run. One source of truth, one audit trail, one vendor.

2 ways your team will be able to receive their wages

We are planning the same two payout options TipHaus already offers through Earned Tip Access.

hausdirect™

  • Wages deposited straight to the employee's existing debit card
  • Fast sign-up, no new bank account to open
  • Will support Visa, Mastercard and Discover debit cards
  • Employees will be able to swap the debit card their funds land on at any time

hausmoney®

  • Funds will land in a credit-building account
  • Funds will land in a credit-building account
  • No annual fees and no interest
  • Employees will be able to opt in to the rewards program

Both payout options are in development for Earned Wage Access. They are available today through Earned Tip Access.

WHAT IT IS NOT

How we are designing it: no debt, no credit check, no risk to your business

No debt

Employees will receive wages they have already earned. Nothing is lent.

No credit check

No loan means no credit check.

No risk to you

The intent is no capital requirement and no reserve account.

Earned Wage Access gets confused with payday lending, so here is our design intent stated clearly. Employees will receive wages they have already earned. We are building it so that nothing is lent, which means no loan and no credit check.

For your business, the intent is no capital requirement and no reserve account. Drawdowns will be reconciled and settled through a single ACH per pay period, on the same SOC certified, AICPA compliant infrastructure already running tip payouts for 1.9 million employees.

Earned Wage Access is in development and subject to regulatory approval in each state. Nothing on this page is an offer to provide the service.
