Junior Sales Development Representative

In a nutshell:
We have a well functioning lead generation machine that we need someone to assist our director of sales running. We are generating more interest and leads than we can handle for one sales rep, and are adding two juniors to assist in the role. Your day would be managing and updating the CRM, scheduling follow up meetings with prospects, and doing live 1-on-1 screen sharing demos with potential customers. 90% of our leads are in-bound, so we value relationship building and personable traits over hyper aggressive sales tactics.
On Target Earnings will land this position at $70-85k per year. About You: Restaurant / Hospitality experience is required. We can teach our software, we can’t teach an entire industry’s culture, work norms, and lingo. Software competency is a must. You don’t need to have technical skills or know how to code, but you do need to know the basics of cloud computing, what an API is, how to open and manipulate a CSV file, etc. Sales experience, particularly B2B or SaaS experience, is strongly preferred. Proven track records mean you fit well. Cheery and compassionate personality is a must. Restaurant managers come from all walks of life, and you have to be able to speak from a technical perspective or a layman’s perspective on a moment’s notice. Motivated individual is a requirement. We have tripled in revenue and company valuation in 6 months, and we offer a substantial equity opportunity. Everyone wears a lot of hats, and we encourage creativity and input from all departments. Knowledge and proficiency of the following softwares are strongly preferred: Outreach, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Slack, Google Suite, Calendly. Compensation: $40-$50k base pay + commission structure, with sizable equity provisions and health / dental / vision benefits after 90 days.
